In 2010, we acknowledged the Top Web Development issues such as:
- Facebook’s Release HipHop for PHP
HipHop is an internal open-source project intended to speed up PHP for large-scale applications.
The project was the culmination of two years of work by a team of Facebook engineers; in the end, it got a warm welcome from Rasmus Lerdorf (the creator of PHP), who said,“I think it is a cool project and it will certainly be a good option for some sites.”
- Microsoft’s Release Visual Studio 2010
I don’t have enough time and hardware resources to try that out, but some people said that the IDE was completely reengineered from the ground up. Silverlight support was integrated, and also the release of F# (F sharp), a new a multi-paradigm programming language that includes functional programming. - Apple Inc. versus Adobe Flash
By the development of HTML5 by the consortium, Apple Inc.’s Steve Jobs stated that “no one will use Flash, the world is moving to HTML5″. It applies in at least one of Apple Inc’s major new products in 2010: iPad, which come without Flash support.
