It turns out that the updates are the bra colors of your friends and spread through messages on the social networking site. Some blogs informs that the color update craze was started by women in Detroit who are trying to raise awareness around Breast Cancer (though October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month). Another blog (blog) backs up that notion and includes the following Facebook (Facebook) message:

“Some fun is going on…. just write the color of your bra in your status. Just the color, nothing else. It will be neat to see if this will spread the wings of breast cancer awareness. It will be fun to see how long it takes before people wonder why all the girls have a color in their status… Haha .”

Yay for breast cancer awareness, but is this really the best way to go about it? Discuss amongst yourselves.

“Lhoh, kok harus login?” Padahal hal ini terjadi hanya jika saya mengganti password akun Facebook saya (dari desktop browser, misalnya). Saya yakin tidak mengganti password sendiri, karena saya juga mengakses Facebook mobile beberapa jam sebelumnya dengan HP saya dan tidak logout ataupun mengganti password. Apakah ada yang meng-hack akun saya?

Saya cek lewat browser desktop, ternyata melakukan maintenance server oleh Facebook yang menyebabkan pengguna tidak dapat mengakses akun mereka.

Crops are our main source of experience. There are many different crops available but since they never change there’s a few of them which are better than all the others.

First of all crops can wither which will result in no profit. If we take Strawberries (4 hour crops) as an example:

• 2 pm (14.00) – You plant the Strawberries.
• 6 pm (18.00) – Your Strawberries will be ready to harvest.
• 10 pm (22.00) – Now your Strawberries will start to wither randomly.
• 2 am (2.00) – Now all of your Strawberries will inevitably wither.

The 6 main crops are the following:

1. 1 Strawberries
2. 5 Pumpkin
3. (5 Rice)
4. 8 Raspberries
5. 17 Blueberries
6. 20 Tomatoes

lvl 1-8 » Strawberries:
The best crops for people below level 8.

lvl 5-17 » Pumpkin:
The best crops for people who sleep. Stick to berries all the way if you’re ready to get up in the middle of the night to harvest your Strawberries or Raspberries.
Pumpkins are no longer worth it when you get level 17 (and get Blueberries) – unless you sleep more than 8 hours (because then the Blueberries will start to wither). If it takes you anymore than 8½ hours between checking FarmVille at any time then I recommend planting these by that time.

lvl 5-20 » Rice:
The crops for those who are unable to check their farm in time intervals greater than 11 hours.

lvl 8-17 » Raspberries:
For people who are willing to level fast and have time to check their crops every second hour during daytime.

lvl 17- » Blueberries:
Once these are available, pumpkins are no longer necessary at night – again, unless you sleep more than 8 hours.

lvl 20- » Tomatoes:
These crops are the money makers. They are the most profitable crops in the game. These will replace pumpkins at night – also if you sleep less than 8 hours at night.
These crops are worth planting if you are unable to check your computer in a time interval greater than 6 hours and less than 16 hours.

Let’s take care of the so called Soybean-delete method:
It’s a process to use all your leftover money to level up further.

DO NOT USE IT BEFORE YOU HAVE A 16×16 FARM WITH CROPS ON EVERY PLOT – AND NOT BEFORE YOU HAVE GOTTEN THE ARCHITECT RIBBON!

This method is the second best method in the game (the best is the Architect Ribbon – but that is a one-time-only method) for getting exp for leftover money.

How-To:
Leave one plot left on your farm and do the following:

1. Plow it.
2. Sow Soybeans on it.
3. Pick the Delete Tool (red shovel) and delete the plot immediately.

Repeat that process until you have no money left.

Here’s the math:
Soybeans:
(15 (plow) + 15 (sow) ) / (1xp + 2xp) = 10 coins per exp.
Which means that if you have 40.000 leftover coins, you will be getting 4.000 exp out of this method.

Now let’s get down to the facts so you can see which road you have the time to follow:

Tomatoes gives 6 exp per plot per day.
Blueberries gives 8 or 10 exp per plot per day (depending on how many times a day you are available.
Sunflowers give you 3 exp per plot per day.

Let’s say we plant Blueberries 4 times a day and then Tomatoes over night:
Per day that gives 162 coins and 10 exp per plot per day.

If you plant Sunflowers instead:
165 coins and 3 exp per plot per day

If you plant 3x Tomatoes instead:
174 coins and 6 exp per plot per day

If you plant 5x Blueberries instead:
130 coins and 10 exp per plot per day

If we scale this up to 255 plots (I am using the center plot to lock up my avatar – check this topic for more information – and even though it says it’s been disabled it’s not entirely true) here are the different scenarios:

4x Blueberry + 1 Tomato method:
41.310 coins and 2.550 exp per day

5x Blueberry method:
33.150 coins and 2.550 exp per day
- 8.160 coins
+ 0 exp

3x Tomato method:
44.370 coins and 1.530 exp per day
+ 3.060 coins
- 1.020 exp

1x Sunflower method:
42.075 coins and 765 exp per day
+ 765 coins
- 1.785 exp

Though the method for people who never sleep should actually be on top of the list:
6x Blueberry method:
39.780 coins and 3.060 exp per day
- 1.530 coins
+ 510 exp

It gives a little extra exp but you would have to get up in the middle of the night and harvest, plow and re-sow the entire field and then go to bed again (unless you actually only sleep 4 hours a day).

I did the above math just for those who don’t want to spend time on the Soybean-delete method to level up. But there’s no denying that it gives more exp to use it.

So let’s include the Soybean-delete method in the math:
6x Blueberry + Soybean delete method:
(39.780 / 10) + 3.060 exp = 7.038 exp per day.

4x Blueberry + 1 Tomato + Soybean delete method:
(41.310 / 10) + 2.550 exp = 6.681 exp per day.

3x Tomato + Soybean delete method:
(44.370 / 10 ) + 1.530 exp = 5.967 exp per day.

5x Blueberry + Soybean delete method:
(33.150 / 10) + 2.550 exp = 5.865 exp per day.

1x Sunflower + Soybean delete method:
(42.075 / 10) + 765 exp = 4.972,5 exp per day.

Now these things are interesting. First of all, important facts are that buying trees or animals are not worth it. It takes too long time to be paid off – and there’s another far better, and free, option; Getting them gifted from friends!

Since you are not going to buy any trees or animals you will not be getting any exp from these – except if you use it for the Soybean-delete method. In any case, you should at least fill the 2 outer rows of the map out with these – since no crops are able to fit there.

The way you should do it:

Put trees in the far outer row and the animals in the inner row of the two. This way you can see both the animals and the trees whenever you need to harvest them.

To begin with you should just accept all gifts immediately (except for one of each if you don’t have the “Not Spoiled, Gifted” ribbon – look above on the Ribbons section) and put them there. As you go along you will begin to lack room out there then you will just start to sell the following of your items (in this order) and replace them with better trees or animals (see the total trees and animals list further down):

When you have both rows full and have none of the above trees or animals left you should now consider deleting plots of crops one by one and filling them up with trees or animals that are listed as green on the list below. If you are not interested in the Soybean-delete method then deleting crop plots is undeniably a bad idea.

The numbers beside each of the trees and animals means how much daily profit they give per plot. Keep in mind that the 4x Blueberries + 1 Tomatoes method gives 162 coins and 10 exp per plot per day – that means a total of 26,2 exp per plot per day if we include the Soybean-delete method. To get enough coins from a plot full of trees or animals they will then have to give a profit higher than 262 coins per plot per day (26,2 x 10). As you can see above, all the trees and animals above that are marked as green.

It would be best if you started playing in your first day since it would be best if you reached level 5 before you go to bed.

When you begin the game you will start out with 6 plots:
2 plots of Strawberries.
2 plots of Egg plants.
2 empty plots.

Now you start out by harvesting whichever of them that are mature and ready to harvest (I don’t remember exactly if they are all ready to begin with). Then you plant strawberries on as many plots as possible. Whenever you have planted Strawberries, on all empty plowed plots, you create one new plot and put Strawberries on it and repeat that until you have 12×12 plots full of Strawberries.

• Whenever you planted all the Strawberries you can at first you begin getting all the free ribbons (see the ribbons schema guide). While you are getting money from the ribbons you keep making new plots of Strawberries. Never leave more than one plot without Strawberries on. And try to plant all fields on almost the same time so you don’t have to check on them all the time.
• Whenever you have to go to bed (if you don’t have someone who can harvest, plow and sow for you while you sleep) you should plant Pumpkins.
• Whenever you reach level 8, start using Raspberries (in daytime) instead of Strawberries.

First of all, I marked the ribbons criteria with color text which you should noticed :

• Ribbons marked with Red
  Better not achieve these
• Ribbons marked with Orange
  Achieve these, not in rush
• Ribbons marked with Green
  Achieve these, as soon as possible, whatever it takes, at all cost!

More important thing : don’t forget to pay attention about your friends’ FarmVille feed stories. You know, from your Facebook Home (News Feed), your FarmVille friends will be posting their stories. They should be look like this:

Local Celebrity:
Simple. Just get 50 friends and you will have 160exp and 16.000 coins for free. The sooner you do it, the sooner you will be able to get Blueberries and Tomatoes which are the best seeds in the game.
Check this forum if you are needing neighbors – almost everyone there are active FarmVille players who will give you gifts almost every day if you gift them in return.

Good Samaritan:
Simple. Just keep helping your friends whenever you can. Eventually you will get 175 exp and 8.500 coins for free (+ the Blue Ribbon that nobody reported data of yet).

High Roller:
You will achieve this by earning coins along the way.

A Pretty Penny:
There’s absolutely no reason to buy extra things to achieve this ribbon since you will be getting this ribbon eventually and then you would just have wasted money too early.

Cream of the Crop:
Harvesting crops is what we’re going to do to level up anyway so just relax – you will get this ribbon and it’s wealth eventually.

Knock on Wood:
Only achieve it through gifted trees that you put on the outer edge of your farm.
—–
Zoologist:
Only achieve it through gifted animals.
—–
Architect:
This is an interesting ribbon.
It gives 2150 exp for 10500 coins (which is 1 exp for 4,88 coins – the best exp for coins rate in the game so far).
The most optimal way of achieving this is to build 30 Rest tents at once just after doing a harvest (you will need to have at least 30000 coins before doing this – don’t try to do it before that since it won’t be worth it – and don’t worry about having enough money to harvest afterwards – you will have enough (to everything but tomatoes)) and then you can delete a few of your plots BEFORE you plow you field – and when you achieved the Architect Blue Ribbon you simply sell the Rest Tents, then create new plots again and then finally continue doing the optimal harvest of your level.
Don’t get this ribbon before you have expanded to a 16×16 farm.

Pack Rat:
250 decorations required – Standard Hay Bales (100 coins) are the cheapest so far. You are not awarded any coins for this ribbon but you are awarded 4 decorations worth a total of 425 coins if you sell them.
It gives 425 exp for 24575 coins (which is 1 exp for 57,82 – a terrible rate)
This ribbon is not for those who want to level fast.

Animal Shelter:
Achieve this as soon as possible. Nobody but the developers actually know how the math works but I am very sure that each time you click a “Adopt a [lost animal]” link there’s a small change that you will successfully adopt the animal. As far as I have experienced it has nothing to do with how fast you click the link or how many clicked the link already. This means that this luck (or illegal advanced hacking lol) is a factor of this achievement. Remember, whenever you add another friend on facebook, check their wall history for these lost animals – they may have some that you are able to adopt – even if it’s weeks old (I have a friend who did this a few times).

Shutterbug:
Whenever you get a new FarmVille friend (you don’t have to be neighbors) just take a photo of their farm. Now if the game won’t register your photo here’s a few tips to get it working:

• Wait a few minutes.
• Refresh the page.
• Clear your browser cache and restart your computer.
• Go to your “FarmVille Photos” photo album on Facebook and click on the “Post Album to Profile” link.

If it doesn’t work by then, then just try taking photos of every new FarmVille friend you get – it’s better try – even though it may bug.

Green Thumb:
Now this is not actually a green. More in a middle category between orange and green. The reason that I mark it green is not because you should just plant one of each crop as soon as possible – but you should do it whenever it’s worth it.
This is a list over the 17 most profitable crops in order of high to low profit:

1. Tomatoes
2. Sunflowers
3. Coffee
4. Broccoli
5. Blueberries
6. Raspberries
7. Peppers
8. Rice
9. Corn
10. Pumpkin
11. Pineapples
12. Potatoes
13. Yellow Bell
14. Watermelon
15. Strawberry
16. Cotton
17. Soybeans
18. (Squash)

Now the most optimal way would be to wait for level 35 (for Broccoli) to do this but if you want the money and exp boost a lot earlier then I recommend doing it when you hit level 23. Then plant everything on that list except for Broccoli, Corn and Sunflowers (and you don’t have to plant any Strawberries, Raspberries, Pumpkin (and/or Rice if you also used them previously) – and you will have the rest of the field full of either Tomatoes or Blueberries anyway) – and then plant a plot of Squash as well.
Then when you hit level 24 you plant a plot of Corn, and when you hit level 25 you plant a plot of Sunflowers. And then you will have the ribbon.

If you’re wondering why I order these 17 plants in profit is because since everyone of them (except for the berries) suck in exp gain then coins matters much more (because of the soybean-delete method which I will mention later).

Tree Hugger:
This ribbon is profitable IF YOU DO NOT BUY ANY OF YOUR TREES. If you are one of those who are receiving extremely many gifts a day then just keep at least one of each of all the crappy trees until you got this ribbon.

Just ask your FarmVille friends to send you the specific gifts you are missing (if you put all FarmVille friends in a list called “FarmVille” (see this post for more info, also on privacy settings from FarmVille-only friends) just go to Facebook and Compose a new message (click on Inbox in the top and you will see it) and then in “To:” box you write the name of your list, e.g. “FarmVille” without quotation marks).
